The Grandmont Community Association Fundraising Committee extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended, and supported our Rolling With Grandmont: Back-to-School Skating Party.
A special shout-out goes to those who generously gave funds, sold and/or donated tickets, or welcomed us into school open houses, social media platforms, organizations, and local businesses to advertise, ensuring our neighbors, especially our children, could attend. Your generosity truly made a difference. Because of your unwavering support, this event was a tremendous success, bringing together neighbors, families, and friends for an unforgettable evening.
We are also deeply grateful to our community partners such as, Detroit Roller Wheels, as well as our Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Detroit Police Department 8th Precinct, and Detroit 300, for always showing up and ensuring the safety of our events. Your presence and partnership mean so much to our community.
We were thrilled to welcome over 200 skaters who rolled with us at this exciting event! The energy in the rink was electric, and the smiles on our community’s faces said it all.
👏 Congratulations to our 10 lucky winners who each received a pair of skating tickets, and to our grand 50/50 raffle winner, who walked away with the big prize of the night. 🏆
Events like these remind us of the power of community and what we can accomplish when we come together. Thank you for helping us make this Back-to-School celebration one to remember; we couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️
