The Grandmont Community Association Youth & Education Committee (GCAYE) hosted its annual Back to School Supplies & Backpack Giveaway featuring Reading in Ramsay Park on Saturday, August 16th at Douglas Ramsay Park.
Thanks to the support from the Grandmont Community Association, Grandmont “Good Neighbors”, the surrounding Grandmont-Rosedale Communities, and community partners, school supplies, backpacks and free books were collected and distributed to over 200 children during the event. Participants enjoyed giveaways, raffles, and resource tables with snacks, music and community fun for the whole family.
