A spook-tacular time was had at our 2nd Annual Longacre Trunk-a-Treat! Good neighbors lined their driveways with festive decorations in their trunks and filled with treats & sweets.
I would to thank every neighbor who participated and donated their time, efforts and candy to ensure a successful event. Our Longacre neighbors are just the best. I would like to recognize Jarrette Wright-Booker for her idea for this event. The decorations in the front lawns and windows of the beautiful homes were top notch.
It was great seeing the little ones & big ones in their Halloween best. We had it all from ghosts to goblins to skeletons and nuns, catwonan and the hulk and even a little adorably dressed toddler as a vine of grapes. Hundreds of kids came out to partake in the festivities. Most of all it was great family fun in a safe environment right in our community.
We will definitely do a 3-peat next year and make it even bigger and better.
