The Grandmont Community Association is proud to share that we’ve officially registered to participate in ARISE Detroit! 20th Anniversary Neighborhoods Day, taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Please SAVE-THE-DATE!!!
This powerful, citywide day of service brings neighbors across Detroit together with a shared purpose: to strengthen our communities, build connections, and create positive change right where we live.
This year, we’re calling on all of Grandmont, surrounding communities, businesses, and community partners to come together to beautify and tidy our beloved Douglas -Ramsay Park and its surrounding areas in preparation for our upcoming Grandmont 46th Arts, Crafts & Culture Fair. Whether it’s planting flowers, picking up litter, refreshing shared spaces, or simply lending a helping hand, every effort makes a difference and helps set the stage for one of our community’s most anticipated events.
Neighborhoods Day is more than just a cleanup…it’s a celebration of community pride, unity, and action. By participating, Grandmont will also receive support from ARISE Detroit!, including resources, promotion, and tools to help make our event impactful and successful.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Volunteer your time on August 1st
- Invite family, friends, and neighbors to join
- Bring gloves, tools, and your community spirit
- Share ideas to help make the day fun and meaningful
Let’s show the strength and pride of Grandmont by coming out in full force. Together, we can make Ramsay Park shine just in time for the Art Fair, and continue building the vibrant, connected community we all love.
Stay tuned for more details on volunteer times and activities!
Let’s ARISE, Grandmont…together.
Warm regards,
Sue Hood
