Special Guests:
To build collaborative relationships with schools in District 1, as well as surrounding schools, I reached out via phone call, then followed up with an email. For schools that responded to my email offering of donating tickets, I later visited Old Redford Academy Elementary & Middle, Christ The King, Cooke Elementary, and F.L.I.C.S. Elementary schools to cheerfully donate tickets. Each school distributed donated tickets to their lucky/deserving students to attend both of our Spring Break Rolling With Grandmont and Sunday Fun Day events; some schools shared pictures and names of their lucky ticket winning students.
-Old Redford Academy Elementary & Middle: Mr Roberts raffled tickets based on attending PTA meetings; winners Ms James (pictured below), Ms Moore, Ms Reid & Mr Buchanan
-Cooke Elementary: raffled off tickets
-F.L.I.C.S. Elementary: Mr Akbar hosts a male mentoring club (pictured below), he selected students to receive tickets

I also spoke with several school administrators to offer their students a seat at our tables by joining some of our Grandmont Committees to earn their volunteer hours while learning important skills such as leadership and planning. Looking forward to working with students to share their fresh ideas for our upcoming 2026 Art Fair on the planning committee as well as becoming future vendors and assisting in coordinating our Art Fair opening parade with a marching band, including all the bells and whistles.
