A Boo-tiful Day for a Trunk or Treat!
The Grandmont Community Association (GCA) Board and Edison Elementary School hosted a Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25, 2024.
Trunk or Treaters from Edison Elementary and the surrounding Grandmont-Rosedale communities dressed as avocadoes, superheroes and villains, popular princesses and frightening ghouls enjoyed trunks disguised as ghostly apparitions, gold-seeking pirates, monstrous mummies and spiders, and wicked pumpkins. Guests were hypnotized by spell-binding tunes while enjoying behind-the-scenes access to a fire truck and police squad car, Free Books provided by the Grandmont Youth & Education Committee generously sponsored by the Detroit Kiwanis Club No. 1 and 313Reads: Detroit Literacy Coalition in conjunction with The Molina Foundation and cauldrons of candy and bubbling brews!
Many THANKS to the wickedly-wonderful Edison Elementary PTA, staff, family and friends; blood-curdling screams to the crew of “Trunkers”; wailing-applause to
